Thanksgiving....finally!

Ellie was the entertainment - they wanted to hold her in the water, doesn't seem to have gone over very well.

This was probably the 100th time they went down this slide - I don't know who enjoyed it more, Ellie or her dad.

Ellie at Grandpa's Work

Last time we headed to Moville we stopped in Sioux City at Grandpa Kilstrom's office - Peterbilt Truck Sales.  Ellie got her picture taken with her size Peterbilt trucks.  Here she is with her "cheeser" smile.

Grandma Kilstrom bought Ellie her very own Christmas tree which we set up and decorated in her room.

Grandma Shirley

I was trying to find some pictures from Thanksgiving quick and came across these of Ellie and Grandma Shirley from our last visit to Cedar Falls.

Ellie and dad were spending the day relaxing until mom came home for lunch when she noticed Ellie was all congested and her eyes were red and gooey. Off to the doctor we went. Looks like someone has an infection. Antibiotics to the rescue!

I feel like crap...

Amazingly still in a pretty good mood though - if only mom would give me that silver thing she keeps putting in my face and let me chew on it!

Yes, I know...they are bad pictures - it's hard in the car while a little hand is trying to grab the phone and munch on it :)   I'll do better next time.

Update on the new bed...

The other day I (well Jeff) uploaded the pictures from the camera and I found better pictures of Ellie hanging out in her new bed - not to mention her "trend" of sticking her tongue out.  Luckily she is starting to grow out of that phase.

Now just a note regarding the "new" bed - we can really no longer call it that as Ellie decided she would use the railing as a chew toy - she gnawed on it and removed a good amount of paint the other morning, I guess mom wasn't quick enough when she felt like getting out - she showed me!  I'm hoping lead has long been removed from paint???

Bumps and bruises

Ellie has taken a few spills lately learning how to stand by herself - some might think the little girl gets abused but I assure you all bruises were the result of accidents involving the coffee table and her wobbly legs :) Not to mention Ellie thinking she can stand up on pillows, books, bottles, toys, etc.
